Medical, Toxicity, Antigen and Aging Markers:

Depending on the exact tests ordered by Dr. Conners, some 250+ medical and aging markers may be tested, including vitamin B6, iron, insulin level, calcitonin, pregnenolone, IGF-1, triglycerides, total cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol, , fibrinogen, amylase, testosterone, progesterone, parathyroid hormone, vitamin D, protein C, vitamin B12, magnesium, beta carotene, plasma copper, creatinine, uric acid, and ammonia, among hundreds of others that your current doctor simply ignored.

The reason we test for 'different' markers like 2-Methylhippurate (what on earth is that?) is that these seemingly obscure tests tell are intermediates of important pathways.  2-Methylhippurate happens to be an important marker on the phase 2 detoxification pathway of the liver.

Understand, we NEED to test for FUNCTION.  It makes little sense to me to wait until you have serious pathological breakdown before you address the cause.  Specific functional testing gives a view inside the window of many biological processes taking place in your body.

Laboratory reviews also include:

NUTRITION PROFILE:
Amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

ENDOCRINE SYSTEM:
Growth hormone, DHEA, thyroid, and 15 other critical hormones.

TOXIC CHEMICALS:
Levels of dangerous poisons, heavy metals and pesticides in the body.
